Kernow Metals

Making log stores is old hat to Kernow Metals, been doing it for years, they don't really think much of it.  For me though, it's all new and really rather exciting!  I love the way Dave a Jamie work, their attention to detail is fascinating, constantly brushing their hands over edges and surfaces, feeling for any imperfections.  I can see why they have been making these very specialist pieces for so long.  So although they don't think much about it, in this case, their clients are much more aware of their talents.  Each log store is made to specifications from client, builder or fire installer, millimeter perfect and finished exactly as required.  This can include powder coated (spray painted in very strong specialist paint) to match/complement a fire, paint, cladding, most things really.  They can even make a lovely rusty looking finish which blends into the surroundings.

Not only do they make these wonderful inset log stores they make a whole range of different stores including these fun multicoloured log hoops which are very eye catching and have proved popular at the fire shop next door (Kernow Fires).  Pop in and have a look next time your passing!
